Empowering Community Developers to Build Thriving Neighborhoods
At the Community Developers Roundtable (CDR), we believe thriving neighborhoods start with empowered developers who reflect the communities they serve. Our collective network brings together established non-profit and for-profit real estate professionals who are delivering affordable housing, vibrant retail, and essential services in overlooked areas.
We strengthen the community development ecosystem through a longer-term, developer-led program that combines ongoing feedback, accountability, and targeted support. Participants gain access to flexible capital, professional coaching, and a collaborative peer network. These resources help them grow their organizational capacity, scale their businesses, and deliver projects that build lasting wealth for themselves and their communities.
Following a
Proven Path of Impact.
Building on the incredible success of our Dallas pilot, the Community Developers Roundtable is expanding. Our new Fort Worth cohort is designed to mirror the historic performance of our Dallas initiatives, which transformed how local developers access resources and capital.
Check Out the Results: Our initial Dallas run (2022–2024) proved that when you invest in local talent, the community wins. Members catalyzed nearly $125 million in development activity and secured $1.7 million in loans to deliver 39 essential housing units.
Today, we are bringing that same energy and financial architecture to Fort Worth to build stronger, more equitable communities.
Find Out What The Latest Cohort Has Been Up To
In August 2025, the Community Developers Roundtable officially expanded its capacity-building network to Fort Worth. Meet the nine inaugural developers joining our ecosystem: Local leaders who are committed to creating new affordable housing, activating vibrant retail, and driving lasting wealth for the communities they serve.

Empowering Community Development throughout

WHY NOW?
Fortifying Communities Across North Texas
Across North Texas, there is a need to build capacity for existing and rising community-oriented developers bringing innovative solutions to increase housing affordability and community-based amenities in order to stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods.
Many emerging markets are limited in capacity and typically lack access to flexible capital and partnerships. Empowering existing, community-focused developers will allow increased possibilities to address neighborhood-level concerns in our communities, including minimal attainable housing options, fear of displacement, and loss of communal assets like community-led grocers and retailers.
OUR IMPACT
Driving Tangible Change in Community Development
By aggregating partnerships, maintaining community, and promoting collective strategies, the Roundtable is strengthening the community development ecosystem. A result of the program is increasing both the capacities and collective voices of community-oriented developers, and growing the developer pipeline focused on housing affordability and community-based amenities.
