CDR Cohort 1

At the heart of the Community Developers Roundtable's success is our inaugural cohort of community-oriented developers.
This group of established nonprofit and for-profit leaders, including JASZ Studio, Andrews Development & Holdings, Builders of Hope, Urban Nest Development, and CIMA Heights, formed the backbone of our transformative two-year pilot program. Together, they championed community-driven projects that expanded affordable housing, revitalized underserved neighborhoods, and forged pathways to generational wealth across Dallas.

Driving Significant Change: The Collective Impact of CDR Cohort 1
The inaugural Cohort 1 of the Community Developers Roundtable (CDR), comprised of 15 dedicated members, delivered significant collective impact across Dallas communities from September 2022 to May 2023.
These developers, focused on affordable housing and bringing new retail and services to overlooked areas of Dallas, successfully advanced projects representing an impressive $18.5 million in total development value.
This work includes the creation of 168 new housing units (142 of which are affordable) and 12,000 square feet of new commercial space.
