Building on our momentum, Cohort 2 welcomed seven more visionary real estate leaders to the Roundtable.
This dynamic group, featuring Longhorn Contractors, Titan & Associates, Felder Homes, Caliber Community Group, Five Star Properties, Ruben Legacy Homes, and the Nicole Sternes Experience, is driving transformative change across Dallas-Fort Worth. By leveraging CDR’s unique ecosystem of flexible capital, expert coaching, and a collaborative peer network, these developers are accelerating projects that create attainable housing, reinvigorate local economies, and build thriving, resilient communities.

The second cohort of the Community Developers Roundtable (CDR), active from Fall 2023 to May 2024, represented a highly focused and strategic group of 7 real estate professionals. Dedicated entirely to residential housing, these developers concentrated on producing for-sale single-family homes, utilizing both new construction and targeted rehabilitation to address the pressing need for homeownership opportunities across the DFW region.

Maximizing Residential Development: The Focused Impact of CDR Cohort 2
The Community Developers Roundtable's second cohort, comprised of 7 participants , focused their efforts from Fall 2023 to May 2024.
This cohort was uniquely dedicated to residential housing, with members specializing in producing single-family homes for purchase, often incorporating new construction alongside strategic rehab projects.
Though a smaller, more specialized group, Cohort 2 delivered a strong, focused impact on housing stability in Dallas, advancing projects expected to result in the creation of 68 new housing units. These developers leveraged the CDR's technical and financial resources to accelerate homeownership opportunities and increase the affordable housing stock within DFW communities.
