About Nehme Elbitar
Nehme Elbitar embodies the spirit of community development, having transitioned from a successful culinary entrepreneur into a developer committed to Fort Worth’s progress. His first impactful project was rebuilding his popular restaurant, Chadra Mezza & Grill, in the Near Southside in 2007—a pivotal experience that sparked his passion for real estate revitalization. Today, Nehme actively owns and renovates commercial and residential properties across North Texas, including multi-family duplexes and strategic land holdings. He joins the CDR to formalize his development strategies and access the flexible capital and peer network necessary to scale these vital projects.
A proven community leader, Nehme has served as a former president of Park Place Village and board member of Near Southside, Inc. This deep civic engagement has allowed him to work directly with city planners on community improvements and TIF projects, demonstrating his commitment to the strengthening the development ecosystem. Through the CDR, Nehme will enhance his organizational capacity, allowing him to accelerate development and ensure his projects contribute to lasting wealth and sustained vitality in Fort Worth's overlooked areas.
