About Scottie Smith II
Scottie Smith II is a licensed broker, developer, author, and entrepreneur who began his real estate journey early, becoming licensed at age 19 and owning multiple rental properties by age 21. His firm, SSA, has grown over 200% yearly since its founding in 2011, establishing itself as a fast-growing independent brokerage that has brokered millions of dollars in sales nationwide. As CEO of Shekinah Legacy Holdings (SLH), Scottie currently has nearly 200 units in his development pipeline, continuing his commitment to high-impact projects.
Mr. Smith dedicated a decade to the Atlantic Housing Foundation as a Board Trustee, where he underwrote and approved over $500 Million in affordable housing projects across multiple states. His community commitment is further demonstrated by his appointment to the South Dallas Area Planning Task Force, where he is tasked with crafting a 20-year development plan for the area. He extends his impact by training new licensees through Lone Star Real Estate Academy and supporting startups via the non-profit HUB Space, reflecting his status as a nationally recognized expert.
